The Board of Education of Pembroke Community Consolidated School District 259, Hopkins Park, Illinois is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Board of Education resulting from a Board Member's resignation. The Board of Education has one vacancy that will be filled to serve through the next election in April of 2025.
School Board Member Qualifications –
- United States citizen
- Be a resident of Illinois and the District for at least one year immediately preceding the appointment
- At least 18 years of age
- Registered voter
- Not be a child sex offender
- Not hold another incompatible public office
- Not have a prohibited interest in any contract with the District
