The Board of Education of Pembroke Community Consolidated School District #259 announces the hiring of Dr. Nicole Terrell-Smith to serve as our next Superintendent beginning July 1, 2022. After a fulfilled tenure with our District, our current Superintendent, Dr. Marcus Alexander will transition out at the end of the School Year. We thank him for the work that he has led for our students and community over the past four years, and we extend our best wishes to Dr. Alexander as he moves into the next phase of his career. We are excited to have Dr. Terrell-Smith on board, and to work with her to take our District to the next level. In the very near future, we will share multiple opportunities to meet and get to know our new Superintendent.
