This is Ms. Angelique Ambers she is the 3rd grade teacher at Lorenzo Smith Elementary. She is a proud mother of two children: her 12-year-old son, Arman, and her 5-year-old daughter, Amelia. She is passionate about education and teaching because she understands the power education has to change lives. She strives to create a classroom where every student feels welcomed, supported, and motivated to reach their full potential. Angelique is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in English at Governors State University and is committed to continuing to grow as an educator. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys traveling, writing, learning about history, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Due to the aftermath of the storm impacting Kankakee County and out an abundance of caution for the safety of our students, staff, and families, school will be closed tomorrow.
