Greetings District #259 Parents, This message is to inform you that a report was made to the District that a person within our School tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, all impacted parties who have been considered to be a close contact have been notified and have been directed to quarantine for 10 days. If your child experiences any of the COVID-19 symptoms, please seek medical attention. In addition, please contact District Office to notify us at 815-944-5448. We anticipate that all students and staff will return from Spring Break as planned on Monday, April 5, 2021. Thank you for your continued support to District #259!

Greetings Lorenzo R. Smith Family, For students that are currently in the building for in-person instruction Friday (March 26, 2021) is Picture Day. Also during this time, 8th Graders will be taking cap and gown photos.  Students are allowed to dress out of uniform for their pictures. For those families that would like breakfast and lunch, meals can be picked up from the school between 9 AM and 11 AM at the main entrance. Take care, stay warm, and BE SAFE!

We will resume face-to-face learning as well as Remote Learning for the students that will be learning from home. Buses will be doing pick up at the normal time. Please plan to be online by 8 AM for class. Parents if you would like to come to the school to pick up meals they will be available at the Main Office between 9 AM and 11 AM.
